I worked closely with a local software start-up to help them create a new website for their product launch. The tight timeline forced a very iterative design process. The end result was a very polished product site that accentuated the Turnstyle designed logo and worked in their type recommendation (Gotham).
Due to a late shift in marketing and branding strategy, the firm took the design process in-house, and created a different art direction and design for the site. I took the lead on the initial site development phase (html/css/js templates) of that design and coordinated my work with their internal team.
http://onehub.thingsthatarebrown.com http://onehub.comVideo page UI design for Frameweld, a video production company. They hired me to re-think how their application's pages functioned. I helped adapt the work completed here to other projects in their system.
The main goal of the design was to make better use of the video they had, and present search results in a cleaner, more organized way. Use of the grid and sans-serif typography gave their system a much more flexible, modern and elegant visual identity for their interfaces.
A collaborative project with Paul Jarvis (230.ca), I helped him address on some of the early design challenges with one of his client projects. Presented is my early, unused take as well as Paul's final design.
http://www.childrensrights.orgA complete UI, brand and identity design project. A local "microfinance non-profit startup" engaged me to take their early wireframes and create a completely new look and feel for their project. I advised on a number new features, and designed a completely new set of wireframe interactions and layout from their tech demo.
I also handled a robust template development phase that included sample JS interactions. The templates are built with extreme flexibility and the code is written and commented such that it's easy for any developer / designer to extend. The logo was designed by illustrator Chelsea Conboy.
http://thingsthatarebrown.com/tmp/vittana/codeA complete design overhaul of their previous site, this project entailed custom CMS development to allow for updates by the client. I used the powerful and open-source Wordpress platform to develop the site for the required features.
The resulting site is not only easily updatable by the client, the Wordpress framework allows for easy SEO refinement and general flexibility with adding / configuring many different views.
