RAINN, the The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. They maintain a 24 hour support hotline, providing victims of sexual assault with free, confidential services around the clock. The hotline helped 137,039 sexual assault victims in 2005 and has helped more than one million since it began in 1994.

Thingsthatarebrown lead the art direction on the project, and helped refine and modernize RAIIN.org. We developed a number of concepts to effectively present the many types of site content the organization was developing for its expanded online division.

In addition to the design, thingsthatarebrown built out a set of solid XHTML and CSS templates for RAINN's tech team to incorporate into its new CMS platform. The design has since been extended and adapted by the organization and currently powers the national site.
