Introducing Ui Tuneup

By Matt Brown — 5

Today thingsthatarebrown is excited to unveil Ui Tuneup, a design service aimed at folks who need a visual re-design or refinement, but who don’t want the hassle of expensive, long-term contracts. It’s a smaller-scale supplement to the interface design work we do at thingsthatarebrown.

Ui Tuneups involve localized, single page re-designs that will make your site work better for you and your users. It’s an affordable, quick way to fix an outdated, difficult to use page or feature of your current website or web-app.

The bottom line? UI Tuneup is all about smart, low-cost redesigns in less than a week. Check out the whole pitch over at uituneup.com — we’d love to hear what you think!

I love the concept, it reminds me of a similar service that 37signals used to offer many years ago. I think you’ve got a winner on your hands, especially since the the recession is in full swing and businesses are trimming their budgets.

Good luck with your new venture!

@Geof and @Noel: Thanks for the kind words and support. Noel, you’re definitely right that Ui Tuneup is inspired by 37signals’ old “Express” service. It’s a great idea, so I thought it would be wise to bring it back.
